Dr. Shugart, Robert, is proud to serve the Fort Wayne community in the same practice that has been a part of his life for many years. As a lifelong patient of the office, he has a unique appreciation for the relationships and patient-centered care that define the practice, and he is honored to continue that tradition as a dentist.
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Dr. Shugart graduated from Canterbury High School before attending the University of Miami, where he earned his undergraduate degree. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Shugart is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate dental care and believes in creating a comfortable environment where patients of all ages feel welcomed, informed, and confident in their smiles.
His commitment to serving others extends beyond the dental office. During his education, he volunteered with TeamSmile, helping provide free dental care to children in the Fort Wayne community and reinforcing his dedication to improving access to oral healthcare.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shugart enjoys golfing, spending time with family, attending local events and festivals, and boating.
As a Fort Wayne native, Dr. Shugart is grateful for the opportunity to care for the community he has always called home and looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and their families for years to come.
