Dr. Shilpa Buss, D.D.S.
Dr. Shilpa Buss is a dedicated dental professional committed to delivering exceptional oral health care to our community. She strives to create an optimal patient experience with a combination of compassion, expertise, and knowledge. Her goal is to ensure that every patient leaves her care satisfied and confident. Dr. Buss provides comprehensive dental care utilizing the latest technology including fillings, implant restorations, crown and bridge restorations, oral surgery, removable appliances, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Buss is a Fort Wayne, IN native. She is a 1994 graduate of Snider High School. She completed her undergraduate education at Indiana University Bloomington, where she graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She then completed a Masters in Physiology program at IU Bloomington. Dr. Buss became fascinated by the profession of dentistry while working as a dental assistant for a dental practice in Indianapolis, IN. She went on to pursue and earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005.
After graduation, Dr. Buss chose to continue her education by completing a two-year General Practice Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. During her time there, she gained experience in general, pediatric, and hospital dentistry.
Upon completion of residency training, Dr. Buss and her family moved back to Fort Wayne, IN. She spent 14 years treating our veterans at the Department of Veteran Affairs. Her experience there was rewarding and memorable.
Dr. Buss and her husband Ryan are the proud parents of two boys who keep them both busy in their spare time. In her free time, Dr. Buss enjoys running, strength training, traveling with family and friends, and golf.
